Mt Barney National Park has two different types of Rainforests that are begging to be explored. The sub- tropical rainforest is more readily accessed and provides the greatest abundance of species. The cool temperate rainforest on Mt Ballow gives participants the chance to gaze upon the ancient Antarctic Beech tree and imagine life in Jurassic Park. Interpretive information on the rainforest’s hidden treasures will be provided on the walk.
Cost: $155 per person (Includes return transfer from Mt Barney Lodge, a full expedition food pack per person, all ropes required, all
first aid equipment, flower identification books and public liability insurance)
Requirement for group numbers: 4-10 people, or minimum 4 person tariff.

What to bring: Camera, hat, sunscreen, 3 litres of water, any medication, warm clothes/raincoat, small backpack and wear comfortable closed-in shoes.
Fitness Requirement: This is a full day expedition which requires a solid fitness level and the ability to carry a daypack with equipment and personal gear
