Mt Ballow

Mt Ballow

Rainforest Explore

Mt Barney National Park has two different types of Rainforests that are begging to be explored. The sub- tropical rainforest is more readily accessed and provides the greatest abundance of species. The cool temperate rainforest on Mt Ballow gives participants the chance to gaze upon the ancient Antarctic Beech tree and imagine life in Jurassic Park. Interpretive information on the rainforest’s hidden treasures will be provided on the walk.
