These adventure activities have been designed to encourage your corporate team members to venture out of their comfort zone, while strengthening team building skills.
While learning new skills, your group will explore the surrounding Mt Barney National Park and admire the breath-taking mountain scenery. All activities are facilitated by our experienced and qualified outdoor leaders.
Sunset Eco Tour - On the evening of your arrival, be guided on an Eco Tour of the Lodge, allowing for fantastic opportunities to see local wildlife and taste some wild bush foods. Your guide will show you many of the local plants and animals while you stroll up to our lookout and admire the spectacular sunset over Mt Barney, whilst you sip a glass of Barney Creek Wine. Delight your taste-buds with local cheeses, and homemade pastes.
The following activities are available for the two and three day itinerary:
Rock Climbing - Learn rock climbing skills from the experts on an the rock-faces of Mt Gillies. Spectacular views can be seen along the way. All equipment and training is provided. This activity includes a led 20 minute bush-walk to and from the climbing site and morning tea of plunger coffee, tea or hot chocolate and homemade cake or slice.
Yellow Pinch Circuit guided walk/rock-hop - Take a walk through history, as we guide you along the banks of the upper catchments of the Logan River. Learn about the history and ecology of the area as you pass through volcanic rock formations, coal seams and view ancient, untouched land from a spectacular lookout. 'Rock-hopping' is involved with this walk.
Dawn on Mt Gillies - Allow us to guide you through this stunning area filled with gorgeous wildflowers, unique geology and steep rock columns. When you reach the top, enjoy a "Tea on High" of homemade goodies, and admire the spectacular views over both Mt Barney National Park and the McPherson ranges.

Mt Barney Expedition - A guided expedition up Mt Barney is the ultimate challenge! Enjoy the freedom and solitude of the World Heritage-listed Mt Barney National Park, and take advantage of our experience and local knowledge. Leave the tracks behind and explore some of the more challenging ridges and routes available. Interpretive information on plants, animals, history and geology of the area will contribute to this memorable experience. Includes expedition snack-pack and lunch, with plunger coffee, tea or hot chocolate on the summit. A high level of fitness is required for this expedition.
Mt Maroon Expedition - Enjoy the freedom and solitude of World Heritage-listed Mt Barney National Park, and take advantage of our experience and local knowledge.
When participating in this full day bushwalk, you get to leave the tracks behind and explore the places very few people know about. On this walk our Guides
will seek out areas that are flowering, allowing you to come in close contact with the seasonal wildflowers. Orchids, Alpine Flowers and many others
are seen on these walks. A medium to high level of fitness is required for this walk.
