Come with us to Mt French (aptly named Frogs Buttress) to experience lead climbing at Queensland’s premier crack climbing crag.

This is a 6+ hour activity that involves us driving you to Mt French near Boonah. You will get to experience Lead Climbing and will learn how to belay a lead climber as well as understand how to remove natural protection from the cliff face. The cracks at Mt French will surprise you with their hidden tricks and the view from the top of each climb is magnificent.

Prior climbing experience is necessary to enjoy and succeed in this activity.

Activity Information:

Cost: $110 per person (Included is return transfers to Mt Barney Lodge, a substantial morning tea, all climbing equipment, first aid equipment and public liability insurance). A lunch stop at one of the fabulous cafes or pubs in Boonah can be arranged before returning home.

Requirement for group numbers:  minimum of 3 participants

Meeting Place: the Office
What to bring: Camera, hat, sunscreen, 2 litres of water, any medication, warm clothes (winter)/raincoat, small backpack and wear comfortable closed-in shoes.
Fitness Requirement: A moderate level of fitness is required for the style of climbing we will be engaging in.
