Have you ever been curious about how a python REALLY feels like to touch?
Ever wanted to get up close and personal to a bearded dragon?
Have you ever wondered how big a squirrel glider really is?
Living in the city and suburbs we tend to over-look that these Australian native animals. They often live right in our very own backyards where we very rarely pay much attention to them or even know that much about them!
Mt Barney Lodge is now fortunate enough to have Louise McKay from Australian Bush Buddies bring her wildlife education and display to the Lodge during the school holidays as part of our school holiday program.
You will not only get an opportunity to touch some of these creatures, but you will also learn about the environment they live in and their quirky personalities.
Other native animals you may see and touch include native parrots, a baby crocodile, bandicoots, lizards and turtles.
Activity details:
This one hour show during school holidays and long weekends is only $10.00 per person (parents are free) and is payable to Louise on the day (Cash only).
All ages are welcome. Don't forget to bring your camera!
See our program here to find out when her next show is on during the school holidays.
Louise is a professionally trained wildlife education officer and is a former animal handler at Dreamworld! Louise and her husband Al live locally and take their wildlife display to schools, groups and corporate events.
