Mother Daughter Camp

A whole weekend for mum and daughter to connect with each other and nature while camping!

As children transition into young adults and busy lifestyles take hold, it can sometimes be hard for parents to find the time to connect and strengthen their relationship with their child. As we understand the importance of a solid parent/child relationship, Mt Barney Lodge is now offering mother and daughter/father and son camps for families wanting to escape from their hectic lifestyles and reconnect with nature and each other.

Before we tell you the details – here is what one of the participants had to say:

-Wow! What a fantastic weekend. No computers, no phones, no homework, no housework – from the moment we arrived, it was pure bliss. Just me, my daughter and several other like-minded women and girls taking time out of our hectic lives to reconnect, talk, laugh and challenge ourselves in ways we never thought possible. The camaraderie of all participants was fantastic from the get-go, and the encouragement and support given to everyone during our rock climbing challenge was inspiring. Girls and women who just looked up the at rock face and said, “No way!”, were scaling it with ease an hour later. That’s determination, and a very strong developing growth mindset. More than a few daughters were in awe of their mums that day. Thanks Women’s Fitness Adventures for a sensational weekend; we can’t wait to join you again.- Kim and Jemma
